Independence Day
The streets were lockdown-empty on Independence Day. Public celebration of Nigerian nationhood was decidedly muted: no flag flying parades through town; invitation only events in government house.

In this powerful Micro Dose, you’ll hear the sounds of celebration and struggle. These are sounds louder than bullets. #EndSARS means #JusticeNOW. #LongRoadTogether.
